Changed Traffic Conditions
The 2024 Multisport World Championships will be hosted in Townsville from Wednesday 14th August – Sunday 25th August 2024.
There will be some Road and Carpark Closures during the event. This information provides the dates that the roads will be affected. The closures will only be in place during the actual race and then access arrangements will be implemented in all areas pre and post races. More details and timings will be shared as the courses and race times are confirmed closer to the event.
Police, Main Roads and your local government have approved for these changes to take place.
We aim to provide courses and venues that provide the least impact to local community and businesses. This event would not be possible without the support of the local community – so thank you!
